Words that work

With Cindy McGill

We hope you will join us for a very special training Cindy and Tim McGill!

Cindy McGill is a popular conference speaker, dream interpreter and equipper called to raise up teams of people who are passionate to connect others to their created purpose found only in their walk with Jesus. Cindy and her husband, Tim, were both saved in the Jesus Movement, and have served in a ministry capacity since the early 1970’s. Together they have pastored 4 churches, raised 2 daughters, and have had 5 beautiful grandchildren. How did Jesus do it? Church hurt, people hurt people, God does not.  The face of the church is changing to reflect Jesus' true character. Getting over fear of going places where people are desperate for truth.  What to focus on, how to learn to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Cindy is a forerunner in building creative prophetic outreach teams that reach people who are found in places where today's church is not present and would never darken the door of a church. She has built, lead, and sent countless “grass roots” teams into places like the Burning Man festival in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada, the Sundance film festival, as well as reaching young people inside the adult film industry with the hopes and intention of setting them back on course to reach their God-created purpose.

Words That Work contains a language of light for a world living in
darkness so you can reach people who would never enter the door of present
day-church or a Christian meeting of any kind. This book will help you to
• Avoid “language landmines” that hinder outreach efforts and
communicate effectively to a confused, angry world that doesn’t
know who God really is.
• Feel the real heart of the “seeker generation” and navigate
situations where people are searching for God but don’t know it.
• Keep the walls down so people can experience God’s
unconditional love and encounter the Holy Spirit, resulting in
transformation out of darkness into His kingdom of Light.

Cindy and Tim will be at East Gate on Saturday, September 28 (9:30am-3:30pm), and in our Sunday, September 29 service at 10am.
